Overview
Loggers are tools used for logging of various data sets during the usability tests. Following list enumerates loggers developed for usage with usability test context model and IVE tool.
Multisystem logger
Multisystem logger is alternative logging system similar to Techsmith Morae and Noldus Observer. It allows synchronized recording of multiple data sources from usability test, and also observation and annotation from multiple observers.
The tool is under development as Bachelor Thesis by Michal Blazej.
Utest logger
Utest logger is traditional logger that allows recording of observer notes and recording of one a/v stream from desktop. It can load task model in CTT format as list of task. Categories of observer notes can be created before start of the recording. Data sets can be exported for analysis in IVE tool.
Tablet logger
Tablet logger is combined logging device. It uses mobile phone camera to record user field of view. This a/v record is streamed to tablet, where observation notes are taken.
Application was developed by Viktor Hotovy as Bachelor Thesis (in czech).
Mobile phone logger
Mobile phone logger is simple logging tool that allow taking of observer notes in mobile usability test. Beside observer notes, it also records user position.
Application was developed by Michal Zak as Bachelor Thesis (in czech).
